Legolas

Restoring Legolas has been a special honour, as his owner is a long-time collector of antique rocking horses and herself a restorer... working for an expert with an experienced eye is a special challenge!

Legolas arrived as pieces in a box - a bare, eyeless body, scruffy bows and new legs roughly cut out of beech that needed to be fitted and shaped.

Legs went home "naked" as his owner wished to fit the harness at home. Please come back later for photos of this lovely little horse completely finished.
