Attributed to JR Smith, Ariadne is a beautiful bow rocker standing 44" tall, in untouched original condition.

Originally reserved for the Rocking Horse Stables' private collection, this beautiful horse has now had conservation work carried out and has a new home in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

We have had many comments about the appeal of her present condition so only minimal work was done, years of dirt from having lived in a barn has gently been cleaned off, leather rejuvenated as much as we were able and the whole surface has been sealed to protect paint and gesso to prevent further deterioration.

Ariadne received a lot of fan mail and we have found her smaller sister Gigi, who will ship to Australia in 2014.
