Much of Pimpernel's paint was found intact under overpainting. As well as giving him one new ear, the paint has been revealed and retouched. His stand has been restored to original finish including re-chromed brackets and swing irons. His original saddle was intact but deemed too frail for use and as Pimpernel is going back to being a working rocking horse, he has been given custom made replica tack (with thanks to Rocking Horse Elite).

Pimpernal has come up with a fine, expressive face and we are sure he'll give years (and hopefully generations!) of enjoyment to his new family in Victoria.
